Seasons™ - Grief and Loss: a programme of peer support groups for children 5-12 years, and young people up to 18. Their loss may be due to the death of someone close to them, the separation or divorce of their parents, foster-care arrangements, a family member being in prison, or other major family change.
This is a one-hour group session, once a week for 9 weeks.
Seasons™- Life Threatening Illness : age appropriate support for children and young people aged 5-18 who have a family member who is seriously ill.
This is a one-hour group session, once a week for 4 weeks.
Seasons™- for Adults: a programme of peer support groups for adults who are experiencing loss or grief, due to the death of someone close to them.
This is a 1 ½ - 2 hour group session, once a week for 6 weeks.
Seasons™ is all about support
Often the greatest benefit is in being with others who are experiencing similar things.
Each group is small and accompanied by one or two trained adult facilitators, who use a wide range of approaches to create a safe time and place to explore experiences of loss .
Seasons™ respects all cultural and spiritual beliefs.
The groups are confidential to the members of the group.
Enquiries about any Seasons™ programme are welcome at any time.
